The Roero Bike Tour invites you to uncover a quieter, more rustic side of Piedmont. Known for its soft hills, ancient forests, and Arneis vineyards, Roero is a land where time moves slowly and every view feels untouched. This one-day cycling route takes you past castle-topped villages, through hazelnut groves, and across unpaved trails that reveal Piedmont’s authentic countryside spirit.

From the scenic terraces of Guarene to the charming streets of Canale and Montà, you’ll experience a ride rich in color and calm. Paired with a regional lunch and a sip of crisp Roero Arneis wine, it’s the perfect day to rediscover simplicity through motion.

Highlights:

Ride through the UNESCO-listed Roero hills
Visit Castello di Magliano Alfieri and panoramic viewpoints
Authentic local lunch featuring Roero Arneis wines
Pass through traditional villages like Canale and Montà
Ideal for travelers who prefer offbeat, nature-filled routes

Local Importance:

The Roero region is celebrated for its unique terroir — producing some of Italy’s best white wines (Arneis) and fine red varietals. The area’s landscape, carved by ancient rivers, offers distinctive “Rocche” cliffs, making it a geological and cultural gem within Piedmont.
